Mechanical Safety Edge 8K2 / CAT2 Flexible End Black EN 12978
Designed to allow obstacle detection on all points of the edge. The end caps are now made from a soft rubber material and have a new lever switch when depressed will sense the obstruction.
These safety edges are supplied with the option to use a standard N/C circuit to connect to standard safety edge connections on some control panels. If CAT2 level of protection is required then they can be used with the N/O contact monitored by the 8K2 resistor. In both modes of operation these safety edges fail safe.
