The above can happen if the back bracket is not cut out and over time the spline is pulled as the gate is opening and closing this can shorten the life of a motor

The above can happen if the gate is forced on the new splines

as this could save the motor from being damaged

Above is what can happen if the top boss has grees put on it and grit will collect and wear away over time this can eventually stop the gate from fully opening or closing over time also you can see wear on the one side of the top boss as the gate saw not mounted properly and was pushing the boss back against the bronze bearing

ABOVE TOP BOSS WORN WITH TEMP FIX THIS CAN LAST DAYS OR WEEKS BUT THE PARTS WILL NEED REPLACING!

AND BELOW BRONZE BEARING WORN DOWN

I'VE LIFTED THE TOP BOSS SO YOU CAN SEE THE BEARING

BELOW FOUNDATION BOX WITH MOTOR REMOVED AND ALL MARKED UP READY FOR GRINDING BETWEEN MARKS

Old 810 to new 830 replacement this is how to do it

(Now the new floor 850, floor 854, floor 880 or floor 884)

1, Turn slot so its facing front

(This can depend on where the gate has been welded on the top boss)

2, Remove 2 19mm nuts and slide motor out

3, Mark on back of the 810 foundation box where the 2 straps touch

51mm up from ground with a slot going back 3-4mm as below

Screen Shot 2018-04-01 at 001827png

4, with grinder cut out a bit of the foundation box to let the motor sit in the foundation box

5, Cut just the right amount as you can see its not much..........

6, replace motor with the bottom boss in the correct place {the motor can do 180 deg so put the bottom boss in correct place for the gates to hit stops open and close.... replace 19mm bolts , wire as before, turn power off for 10 seconds then back on , give gates a command the gates should open,   {if they close swap lives over brown and black}

Oil fill point IF NEEDED AS
Unlike other hydraulic underground motors the oil is for the life of the Gibidi Floor underground motors and you don't have to change or top up the oil every 2 - 4 years! Like you DO with SEA & BFT hydraulic underground motors

The Gibidi Top rams are the same the oil is for the life of the ram as this is put in under a vacuum and a specific  weight So unlike Gibidi other hydraulic rams need the oil changed every 2 - 4 years!

No Such thing as a direct replacement for a Gibidi Floor motor That isn't Gibidi!

If oil is lost due to manual release being removed and motor/ram moved the oil will come out so yes you can replace the oil but it will never be the same

The new range has been designed with the aim of further improvements over the already high quality of previous models. Here you have the main improvements:

• Increased the size of the internal rack
• Double protection inserted around the transmission shaft
• New bronze guide ring for the transmission shaft
• Increased bearing robustness
• Inserted a thrust bearing on the transmission shaft
• New anchor system for the gearbox bushing
• New anchor system for the hydraulic power unit and the jack for greater resistance.

Here you can see the square shaped rack with guiding system into the gearbody

Old rack at the top new rack at the bottom

On the left new stronger rack, tooth work 100% of their surface on the shaft. On the right, the FLOOR 830 rack, it start from a commercial metal bar, tooth works on a 30% shaft surface only, more stress for the

shaft teeth

From the back of the operator you can see the ball bearing support in the bottom ( partially visible) plus new thrust bearing support

3 of the main new elements, new RACK

Here you can see the matching of the rack and the shaft. Above the new bushing with bronze guiding ring and double sealing

Below the metal plate there are now 2 pins that make the jack move together with the hydraulic unit when external forces are pushing on the gate
